IDK, MY BFF AUDREY?!

Sometimes I think to myself,
I wish I was pretty.
I wish I was kind.
I wish I made people laugh.
I wish I made a difference.
I wish I could be the type of woman that others looked up to.
I wish I could be me, and people would think that's awesome.
Sometimes, I wish I could make this world better.
Not in a big way, I'm not smart enough to cure cancer, or to write a world changing novel, or to run a large corperation.
I wish I could make the world a better place, just in a simple way.
Just make people happy.
Give them hope.
Give them joy.

Maybe one day.

Then, I started thinking of all the women in my life who amaze me.
My Mom, my sisters, my grandmothers, my aunts, my cousins, my friends, my church leaders, my neighbors, my blog friends...

This list goes on and on.

Then I thought about, Mother Teresa, Marjorie Hinckley, Emma Smith and others...

Then I was like, you know who I would get along with.
Audrey Hepburn.

I'm pretty sure that her crazy would completely match my crazy.
I'm pretty sure that we'd have a blast being BFF's.
So, let's pretend we're BFF's.

Isn't my best friend Audrey awesome?!
Check out this girl:

Isn't my BFF totally rad.
Yeah, I think so too.

INSPIRATION: FAVORITE COLOR...

This week, I'm joining in on Gussy's Inspirtation Workshop.

This week is favorite color... and this is so stinkin' hard for me! I love teal, and lately I'm loving coral a lot... and yellow... but, I decided to go with the colors I've always loved...

Green and Purple.

KALEIDOSCOPE HEADBAND TUTORIAL

This headband was inspired by Sara Bareilles song Kaleidscope Heart.

"The idea behind 'Kaleidoscope Heart' is that we're all sort of in pieces and broken bits on the inside, but somehow, when you look through them, you still see something beautiful and colorful and magical..."
- Sara Bareilles

Now, tutorial time!!!

SUPPLIES:

You will need,
scrap fabric
scissors
needle and thread
spare headband
hot glue.
